Skip the one-horse sleigh this year and opt for some exercise at Dallas’ 2009 Jingle Run. The race will be held on Tuesday December 22 at the Hilton Anatole and the run will take you through the heart of the Dallas Design District.
Participants may choose between a 1-mile fun run and a 5K. Runners can opt to do a chip-timed run, but walkers, families and fido are all welcome!
After the race, there will be a holiday party with food, drinks and entertainment. And rumor has it the organizers have gotten confirmation from the North Pole that a very special guest will be in attendance. That’s right; Mr. Claus himself!
Proceeds from the Jingle Run will benefit the Trinity Strand Trail and the Mavericks Foundation. You can register online at www.dallasjinglebellrun.com before December 20. So register soon, and be there with bells on!
The Season for Giving: Be A Jingle Run Volunteer

I’ve seen tons of joggers running by our office this morning! Lots of people with dogs. The Design District is becoming a popular place to run! Maybe because it is so close to the Katy Trail?
i am looking forward to the completion of the trinity strand trail! what a great event to support two great causes – the mavs foundation and the completion of the new path!
Hi there… thanks for blogging about the run… but correction: it is on Tuesday the TWENTY SECOND.
Thanks. And we are still looking for volunteers!
; )
Thanks for pointing that out! I updated it! See you there!
