Initial reaction from compiling this week’s “evening in art” post: I am sure glad these exhibits are going to be up for a full month because it’s going to take me more than one evening to enjoy them all! One thing’s for sure, there is some stellar art going up in the galleries of the Design District this week. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet some of the fabulous artists being featured across the galleries of the the Dallas Design District this Saturday evening. Saturday night highlights & must-see exhibits: (1) Photographers Jimmy & Dena Katz will be on hand at PDNB gallery to sign copies of their photo book World of Wonders which chronicles in photos the last classic traveling Side Show in America. (2) Gabriel Dawe’s project room installation at Conduit Gallery has been extended through June 12. (3) Though the exhibit opened two weeks ago, you can’t miss the Fancy Footwork exhibit at HCG Gallery. (4) L-O-V-E the abstracts by David Aylsworth at Holly Johnson gallery. (5) Fan of impressionism? Check out H.M. Staffer’s new exhibit at The Cameron Gallery.
