This Saturday: Grand Re-Opening of the Dallas Contemporary

By on Feb 05, 2010 • No Comments (give us yours!)

The Dallas Contemporary has moved to the Design District and is celebrating its new home with a grand re-opening this Saturday, February 6 from 8:30 to 11:30 pm. Bring a friend or two and enjoy beer and light refreshments as you browse their new space! Staff will give guided tours at 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30 pm.
The inaugural exhibition is entitled “Warnings & Instructions” by artist James Gilbert. I found some great behind-the-scene pictures of the installation setup on the Dallas Contemporary Facebook Fan Page. The picture shown above is a video still from the installation.

Come out to enjoy the event and help make them feel welcome in the Design District!

Bonus: Follow @DalContemporary on Twitter and mention “I Tweet” at check in to be entered into a drawing for a free membership! {See Tweet}
