As I explained last year, we’re a pie-buying, not a pie-making kind of family. With turkeys to cook, dance moves to perfect, football to be played, wedding rings to be searched for, money to be gambled, and naps to be taken, who could find the time to bake a pie? Certainly not us.
Once again, we’ll order our Thanksgiving desserts from Design District favorite, Mama’s Daughters’ Diner.
They’ll have all the classics — Pumpkin, Pecan and Sweet Potato Pie — plus others delicious favs, including Cherry, Apple and Apricot Crumb, German Chocolate, and Sweet Potato Pecan. All MDD’s pies are $13.50, except for the Sweet Potato Pecan and German Chocolate, which are $15.50.
Order your pies at least a day in advance (by tomorrow!) so you can pick them up the day before Thanksgiving. You can order over the phone or download the Mama’s Daughters’ Diner Fax Form and fax in your order.
