Dallas Jingle Bell Run 2010

The Dallas Design District will be full of dashers, dancers, and prancers this December at the Trinity Strand Trail’s second annual Jingle Bell Run!

This year’s Jingle Bell Run will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. The 1-mile fun run begins at 6:30 pm for those who prefer a more relaxed running/walking experience. Those up for more of a challenge can participate in a timed 5K at 7:00 pm.

Courtesy of the folks at the Trinity Strand, here are the five reasons to register:

Top 5 reasons you should register for the 2010 Jingle Bell Run:
5. After Halloween candy and Thanksgiving turkey, you’re beginning to look a lot like Santa (or at least you feel like you do).
4. Nothing breaks up the sound of a Silent Night like Jingle Bells.
3. Your pet, unlike Rudolph, can join in on the reindeer games. (The race is dog-friendly, after all!)
2. We can’t guarantee you will be dashing through the snow, but you will certainly be laughing all the way.
1. Yule have a Santastic time at the after-party with drinks, fun, food and entertainment!

Online registration is now open at www.dallasjinglebellrun.com and closes at 12 pm, Monday, December 20. Walk-in registration is available at Luke’s Locker on Oak Lawn Ave. from December 18 through 21. Proceeds from the Jingle Run will benefit the Trinity Strand Trail and the Mavericks Foundation.
