Tomorrow, Banks Fine Art will kick off their celebration of Mother’s Day with a new exhibit featuring work from owner, Bob Banks’s own mother, Marcia Banks. The show, entitled “Marcia Banks: A Retrospective View,” which showcases her lively and whimsical acrylics, will be on display through Saturday, June 4th.

Marcia Banks is a fashion illustrator turned fine artist whose breadth of works has graced the catalogs of Montgomery Ward, among others, and whose art has been recognized in Who’s Who in American Art.

Tomorrow’s artist reception, hosted from 5 to 7 pm will feature a book signing and meet and greet with the artist who will be discussing her life and career in the art world.
