Breaking News: Oak Restaurant Chef Announced

By on Sep 12, 2011 • No Comments (give us yours!)

Hot off the press, Teresa Gubbins of PegasusNews reports that the Oak Restaurant, opening soon in the Dallas Design District, has scooped up ex-Mansion chef Jason Maddy.

The Austin native, Grubbins reports, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and worked at Danube in NYC and with David Bull at the Driskell Hotel before being hired by John Tesar to be chef de cuisine at the Mansion on Turtle Creek in 2008.

Tommy DeAlano and his partners Richard & Tiffanee Ellman say they’ll  have a formal release next week, but for now I’m just excited to hear that we’ll have another top-tier chef serving up eats in Lower Oak Lawn!
