This Thursday Belgium, one of the worlds most beloved beer producing countries, celebrates its independence day. The Meddlesome Moth is honoring the occasion with a full week of Belgium beer and Belgium-inspired food parings. From Chimay to Duvel and my new brew of choice, Blanch de Bruxelles, you’re sure to enjoy the toast-worthy Belgium beer that Keith and Matt has picked out for you!
The weeks festivities include:
Wednesday
Duvel Single Hop with Pan Roasted Wild Salmon over Red Beets, fresh Horseradish and Spinach
Thursday
Chimay Cinq Cents with Rabbit & Sage terrine and Pickled Beech Mushrooms
Friday
Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence with Red Velvet Waffles
Blanch de Bruxelles with Steamed Mussels (Ginger, Fresno, Shittake, Scallion)
Saturday
Urthel Hop-it with Pork Confit over Thai Broken Rice
La Trappe Quad with Saint Andre Triple Crema and Black Plum-Currant Chutney
Head down to the Dallas Design District to get a taste of Belgium while it lasts!
