When you think of Italy, you might think of a rustic Tuscan hillside, the canals of Venice, or the warm embrace of pasta and vino. But, Italy is also know for their modern and haute design, both in fashion and in interior design. There is some serious design coming out of this great peninsula! Allow me to introduce you to some incredible modern Italian designs & show you how we’ve incorporated them into our client’s interiors.
Chandelier by Arte di Murano
Typically when you think of Murano glass chandeliers, you think of over the top & gaudy blown glass. However, the island of Murano is cranking out some sleek & interesting chandeliers.
Chandelier by Arte di Murano
This whimsical & colorful chandelier just makes the design of this room, by turning a traditional wood paneled room into a dynamic space.
Rug by Missoni Home
Now, who can forget Missoni? Italy & Missoni go hand-in-hand. When you have the opportunity to use a rug like this one, you have to let it speak for itself.
X-Bench by Selezioni Domus
The incredible x-shaped bench to the left by Selezioni Domus adds incredible flair to a space.
Mirror by Selezioni Domus
This croc and nickel mirror instantly upgraded this space giving it a tailored and masculine look.
Chair by Kartell
Kartell is an incredible furniture company who’s signature is their use of polycarbonate. I love their use of technology for design.
Now, Italian design isn’t cheap! If you’re interested in an Italian made piece, plan to pay a pretty penny for it. However, you’ll find comfort in the fact that you own a piece that is incredibly well made, makes your space, and will last you a lifetime.
