This fall the Dallas Design District has amazed you with its art, dazzled you with its design and blown you away with its burgers. Tonight let the showrooms of Slocum Street astonish you with their impressive array of antiques!

Slocum Street Style, the street’s annual festival, will be hosted tonight, October 13, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Shops and showrooms up and down the street will keep their doors open late and welcome guests to browse their designer wares while enjoying music, light bites, sweets and cocktails.

If last year’s soiree was any indication, this year is sure to be a blast! My plan is to start at the Hi Line/Slocum intersection and work my way up the street. Scott+Cooner is hosting a trunk show for Robin Grey rugs. Janus et Cie and McGannon are also can’t-miss stops. A quick jot to see what’s new at Kitchen Source, then a sweep through Whimsey Shoppe is next. B. Gover, Brendan Bass, Banks Fine Art and Leslie Taylor Antiques are also on the agenda for the evening. But truth be told, who knows where the evening will take us!
