The Super Bowl is coming to North Texas and the Dallas Design District is getting in on all the football-loving, party throwing, celebrity sighting fun! Keep reading to learn about all the LOL related activities taking place in the next two weeks in celebration of football’s biggest game!

Neil Leifer Photography Exhibit & Book Signing: For the Love of the Game
at PDNB Gallery hosted by Sports Illustrated
Sports Illustrated has teamed up with Photographs Do Not Bend Gallery to present a one-of-a-kind photography exhibit in conjunction with Super Bowl XLV. Neil Leifer has notably chronicled some of the most iconic moments in sports history, providing us with an incredible archive of the heroes of basketball, baseball, football, boxing, tennis, golf, horse racing and 0lympic sports. Many of his photographs graced the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Meet Leifer, check out his work and get a book signed at an artist reception to be hosted Saturday, January 29, 2011.

theEvent, featuring Prince
Benefiting the Goss-Michael Foundation
Party like it’s 1999 with live performances from Prince Prince, Erykah Badu, and more at theEvent, a Super Bowl party benefiting Lower Oak Lawn’s very own Goss-Michael Foundation. Besides the musical performers, guests will also be entertained by a silent auction, guest DJs and other yet to be announced special guests.
Though theEvent is open to anyone, it is still sure to feature an exclusive crowd with tickets starting at $1,500 a piece.
When: Friday, February 4 at 8 pm

Super Bowl XLV Host Committee Bash

The Dallas Design District’s very own Todd Events is not only the official event planner for the Super Bowl XLV Host Committee, but also for Cowboys Stadium. Owner Todd Ficus has been charged with planning the invitation-only Super Bowl XLV Host Committee bash Billy Bob’s. The evening promises to be well designed with music from Pat Green, the Spazmatics and DJ Lucy Wrubel.

GQ magazine has rented the Design District event space LandCo/7 Senses for three nights of private parties.
