Design District Art Scene: Saturday, January 9

Update 1/8/10: Photographs Do Not Bend Gallery and The Cameron Gallery have announced they will also be hosting  artists receptions! Details have been added below.

The forecast for Saturday evening predicts cold weather but the Design District’s art scene promises to be hot, Hot, HOT with four exhibit openings PLUS a live painting event by famous reflectionist artist, JD Miller. Already got Saturday night plans? Swing by Conduit Gallery Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm for an Artist Talk when Exhibiting Artist, C. Meng will present a slide show discussing the contemporary art scene in Beijing as he discovered it during an extended residence in 2009.
