Brunschwig’s legacy of design includes an early 1900 tapestry-weaving mill in Aubusson, France as well as parachute cloth substituted for silk during World War II. Left to run the business while her husband served his country, Mrs. B, as she was affectionately called, did not let a little thing like embargos get in the way of producing beautiful fabrics.

Home to contemporary and historically-inspired decorative fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings and upholstered furniture and furnishings the Brunshwig & Fils showroom is a must-see. You won’t have to try hard to see that some of Mrs. B’s spunk still remains.
