Tutorial: How to Download Photos from Flickr

Please follow the tutorial below to download a high-resolution photo from Flickr. (Click the images to see them larger.) Please remember to ask permission from the photo’s owner before printing, redistributing or further using the photos you download.

Step 1:

Navigate in your browser to the Flickr album you’d like to download a picture from. (Example: Miele Kids Cooking Class)

Step 2:

Choose a photo that you’d like to download. Right click on the photo and then select the size of the file you’d like to download. Click “original” for full-resolution. (Example: Group Picture)

Step 3:

After clicking on the size of the file you’d like to download, you will be taken to the photo download page. Select “Download the Original Size of the Photo” link.

Step 4:

You will be prompted to save the file. Save it to your desktop or another folder where you’ll be able to find it.

Step 5:

Enjoy your photo!
